Smokey Walt’s Dry Rub Seasoning is inspired by the bar-b-que joints in west central Alabama.
Walt Abbott learned the art of cooking meats “low and slow” to enhance the flavor and juiciness. But he felt like something was still missing
and that was a truly flavorful dry rub. After several years of experimenting, Walt came up with what he feels is the perfect blend of spices.
And now you can enhance the flavor of your pork, beef, poultry, fish and vegetables with our bar-b-que rub and seasoning.
When bar-b-queuing low and slow or grilling, Smokey Walt’s is a great all-purpose seasoning. Smokey Walt’s is made in small batches to insure consistency and the flavor you expect.
We use the highest quality ingredients including sea salt, granulated brown sugar, garlic, paprika, chili powder and other secret spices. Fifteen ingredients in all, perfectly blended to create a masterful flavor. The granulated brown sugar base prevents clumping and makes Smokey Walt’s easily pourable or shakable while giving it a long shelf life.

You might pay less for other dry rubs but most of the dry rubs on the market are loaded with salt, an inexpensive and not so healthy filler. Our dry rub and seasoning is different. Pure sea salt makes up only 18% of the total ingredients in our dry rub & seasoning, giving you a flavorful, high-quality dry rub and seasoning without a high sodium content.
